Chair Massage/Seated Massage
No other massage marketing concept has caught the attention more than chair massage. It has made seated massage convenient and affordable to the general public.
Chair Massage I
This course is a basic overview of Chair/seated massage. Students will learn indications and contraindications of seated massage, as well as proper hygiene and safety for clients in a chair. Hands-on-work will include the basic strokes and proper stretching techniques, including proper body mechanics for the therapist to use. This class will also include an introduction to marketing for Chair/Seated Massage, as well as supplies needed for on-site massage.

Massage II
This course will review information
learned in Chair/Seated Massage l. Students will learn advanced strokes
to use on each individual client, depending upon the client’s needs.
Students will learn about contracts and insurance forms that some clients
require for their own insurance needs. Students will learn specific
techniques to use with pregnant and elderly clients. Students will also
get an understanding and how to apply if emergencies arise.
Infant Massage
Explore not only the specific strokes for the infant but the stages of development from infant to young child. A great introductory class for those wishing to specialize in infant massage. You will practice the sequence on a doll. 6 hrs
Sports Massage
This introductory course focuses on pre and post event theories and basic sports massage techniques. Students learn anatomy and physiology appropriate for sports massage. Students will also learn how to incorporate sports massage techniques into a basic massage session. six 6 hr classes -- 36 hrs
Advanced Swedish (Neck, Shoulders & Back)
Do you feel like you know enough strokes and techniques to use on your clients’ neck, shoulders and back? Even if you have been a massage therapist for years, there is always something different to learn ! 6 hrs Please bring: one set twin sheets.
Trigger Point
Trigger Point covers the history of trigger point therapy, students are taught what a trigger point is and how it functions. They learn basic techniques for locating trigger points and how to relieve pain caused by trigger points. Upon completion of this class students will be able to incorporate trigger point therapy into their massage therapy sessions. four 6 hr classes -- 24 hrs
Health and Hygiene Review
Review of the Basics-disease prevention are covered with topics such as proper care of equipment and supplies, personal health maintenance, and working on persons with HIV/AIDS 6 hrs
Massage Technique
This class is a review of the basic Swedish strokes and technique. 6 hrs
Infant Massage Trainer Program
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to: discuss current research on the benefits of touch and tactile stimulation; review the benefit so infant massage for families; demonstrate skill in observing and guiding parents' response to their infant's cues; adapt massage to specific needs, such as the newborn infant, infants with special needs, and the growing child; improve communication skills with parents and caregivers; improve facilitation skills for use in group and individual instruction.
