We
consider our school to be the most
user friendly, student oriented,
school in the metroplex. We keep our
class sizes small to provide, not
only the one-on-one attention each
student deserves, but also to
maintain the family atmosphere which
has made us famous.
Learning Resources
The
school maintains a library of class
lecture videos, text and periodicals
pertaining to massage therapy. These
resources may be checked out.
Students
are allowed use of the building and
massage tables for practice on
family and friends.
The
school offers a computer based
training program (CBT) for makeup
work or extra study time.
Student Advising
HandsOn
Therapy maintains an Open Door
policy regarding the personal
advising of its students. Members of
the administrative staff are
normally available to any student
needing assistance with academic,
vocational or financial problems.
Consultation with the instructor is
the student’s first option to
receive assistance on academic
matter. Should the student feel that
he needs further help, he/she can
meet with the Director of Education.
For other matters, students may
check with the Business Office and
they can direct the student to the
appropriate administrative person.
Students are encouraged to seek
assistance as soon as the need
arises.
Retail Center
Each
HandsOn Therapy school has a retail
area that includes equipment
(tables, chairs, etc.), supplies
(lotions, belts, etc.) and other
professional enhancements. This
retail area is open to the public
and our students. All students
receive discount prices.
Internship
HandsOn
Therapy operates a full service
Clinic that offers Intern level
massage. This allows our students
to complete their Internship
requirements in-house and with a
supplied clientele.
Interns
are supplied with one uniform shirt
during their internship at the
HandsOn Therapy clinic. The school
supplies reservation system and late
model massage tables. |
