When you place your order for a class or classes, you will be provided a username and password to access the class you want. 1) Simply log back onto this site; 2) select the courses link at the top of the page; 3) select the series of classes you want; 4) select the individual class you want; 5) log in with the username and password provided. You will be guided through the study portion of the class. At the end, you will be directed into the test. You must answer each test question correctly to proceed to the next question. At the end of the test, a completion form is provided for you to fill out and either fax, email or mail in to the school. After I place an order, how long will it take to receive the passwords needed to take the course? You should receive a user name and password for your purchased class within 24 hours of the time you purchased the class. If you haven't received this information in the given time, please contact us at (972) 285-5133 or sales@handsontherapyschools.com.
Do your courses come with textbooks? You will need to have your own copy of the class textbook. For all classes (other than Pathology series), you will need "Beck's Theory and Practice of Therapeutic Massage". For our Pathology series, you will need "A Massage Therapist's Guide to Pathology". If you need a copy of these textbooks, please call our business office at (972) 285-6133.
How long do I have to complete my course? There is no time limit to completing your course. Everyone works at their own pace. If you begin your test and would like to go back and review the study section, simply click on the link provided.
How can I place a phone in order? Certainly. Contact our business office at (972) 285-6133.
What happens if I fail my exam? Our exams are setup so that you cannot proceed to the next question without submitting a correct answer. To get to the end of our test, you would have to answer all questions correctly. You cannot fail.
The credit for these classes count towards AMTA and other CE requirement entities. They are allowable for DSHS (Texas Department State Health Services) effective December 26, 2008. And, they are eligible for the NCBTMB renewal program.
How long will it take to receive my certificate after I mail in my materials? You will receive your certificate within 14 days of receipt of test completion. If you need it earlier, call or drop by our business office and make arrangements.
