Basic Pathology Series
These courses focus on the pathological conditions most likely to be encountered in a massage therapy practice. Special attention will be given to precautions, contraindications and indications for massage sessions when working with massage clients exhibiting specific conditions; and when and how it is appropriate to refer clients to other health care practitioners. Conditions considered will involve the body systems covered in Advanced anatomy.
